Methods
The methods followed in the creation of the dataset, including description of field, laboratory and processing steps, and quality control procedures
Current Methods
Canopy Openness Measurement
Canopy openness was estimated with digital hemispherical photography in both treatment and control plots. All images were taken vertically from beneath the forest canopy just before sunrise to ensure adequately uniform sky conditions.
