Started: 1995-09-01
Ended: 1995-10-31There are two 20 a (500mX400m) grids laid out by VINS at Ranch Brook and the Nose Dive area. Sixty 100m^2 plots were established w/in that grid. Samples were collected in the 10mX10m quadrats cornered at the intersections of a 100m grid and square w/in the grid. Within each plot all trees over 5 cm dbh were measured to nearest cm; ditto dead trees. A species list of vascular plants was compiled. A few trees were cored for age.
