Site Characteristics

The spatial extent of the dataset site coverage, and descriptions of the spatial extent and context for the data collection

  • Site Description

    Sites on east and west slope of Mount Mansfield. East slope sites include: five sampling locations in northern slopes of Ranch Valley (1500-2700 foot elevations), two sampling locations off the Hell Brook trail (1900 & 3000 ft.), and one sample at the Big Spring. West slope sites include: four sampling locations in the Browns River headwaters (1700-2300 ft.) and three sampling locations in the Stevensville Brook drainage (1700-2300 ft.).
