Dataset Overview
This dataset contains a raster of forest type classifications (e.g. Spruce/Fir, Northern Hardwoods, etc.), based on modeled percent basal area, from 1985 to 2015 derived from Landsat imagery for all of Vermont and portions of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York. Forest/non-forest classifications are derived from the National Land Cover Database.
