Dataset Overview
This dataset contains the LEMP database created by the FEMC. This database contains data on coarse woody debris, descriptive plot and subplot information, specific visit information for plot vegetation sampling, vegetation data for each quadrat, saplings, seedlings, and trees. Plots are located throughout the Green Mountain National Forest of Vermont and the Finger Lakes region of New York.
- Purpose
Organize the LEMP datasets that make up the LEMP datbase. LEMP is a 50-year monitoring effort that examines the broad-scale environmental changes -- particularly changes in climate, air quality, soil health, and vegetation.
