Started: 1896-01-01This station is a National Weather Service (NWS) Cooperative Observing (COOP) Station. As defined by the NWS this COOP station, under the direction of the NWS, is a station at which weather observations are taken by trained, private citizen volunteers and Mohonk Preserve program staff. Services rendered consist of taking instrumental and visual observations, recording data and transmitting reports.
