Project Overview

Fruit production of thirteen fleshy-fruiting species is monitored annually on twenty subquadrats throughout the forest. Monitoring consists of counting number of fruits within 1 meter to either side of each of five 25-m transect lines in each chosen subquadrat. This census method indicates peak and trough years of these species, but does not quantify finer scale patterns.
