Project Overview

The FEMC governing committees identified data rescue as a high priority regional project, as there are many datasets at risk of being lost to time, natural disasters, retirements, etc., and have tasked the FEMC to make headway on this issue. The two primary tasks are to 1) identify datasets at risk of being lost, and 2) rescue as many high-priority dataset and documents as possible in each of the northeastern states. Priority will be given to material that most closely aligns with the focus of the FEMC and contributes most to our understanding of the health of the forests of the Northeast.
