Project Overview
One plot of each of the six cutting methods was implemented at each study area (Bridgewater, Morris, and North Madison). Individual cutting method plots ranged from 4-7 acres in area. Harvests were conducted within one year of the initial inventories. Cutting methods were shelterwood, diameter limit, multi-aged crop tree, high-grading, silvicultural clearcut, and forest preserve.

To monitor forest regeneration under different silvicultural methods.
