► Methods
- Past Methods (no longer in use)
- Twig and soil gas samples
- Started: 1995-06-09
Ended: 1995-06-11 - Method Description: Balsam fir twig samples and soil gas samples were collected at 5 different elevations along the Halfway House Trail. Foliage twigs from 20-30 foot height were collected and placed in glass vials. Two samples of ambient air were collected. The soil gas samples were taken using a battery-powered constant-volume type pump attached to a plastic tube and tenax-filled tube type trap with a stainless steel probe with small holes that was poked into soil at about 20 sm depth.
