dataset_eml_abstractheader

This project performed extensive sampling in the Lye Brook Wilderness are to classify ecological communities based on an integration of soils, vegetation & physiographic data. These communities were then mapped.

    • Ground cover metrics
      • dataset_eml_methoddescription: Ground flora in each plot were identified to species, including moss and lichens. Plots were divided into 10X10 quadrats and percent cover by species was recorded. Then 3 1 meter square frames were chosen from the quadrat and each species and % cover was recorded.
