- Fish collection method
- Started: 1994-04-01
Ended: 1994-10-03 - Method Description: Fish collected from Branch, Bourn , Stratton and Grout Pond were collected for analysis for contaminants in edible tissue, using gill nets.

- Fish species and location II
- Started: 1994-04-01
Ended: 1994-10-03 - Method Description: Brown bullhead, chain pickerel and smallmouth bass were analyzed from Grout Pond.
- Started: 1994-04-01
- Tissue sample prep
- Started: 1994-04-01
Ended: 1995-10-03 - Method Description: Fish were collected by gill nets, and the lengths were recorded in the field. Whole fish were wrapped in aluminum foil and placed in plastic bags and transported on ice to an office where they were frozen. Fish were kept frozen until processed. Fish filets were prepared in the laboratory on a glass cutting board using a stainless steel knife. A 2-4 inch fillet from each fish was homogenized in a tissue grinder. Chain pickerel and smallmouth bass fillets were analyzed with the skin removed.

► Sampling Equipment
- Fish Collection
- Started: 1993-08-01
Ended: 1995-09-30 - Sampling Description: Six sections, (=sites), were sampled on 4 streams in the GMNF August through September 1993-1995. These sections represented the physical habitat of the stream reaches.
