► dataset_eml_abstractheader
A survey of the water quality of streams in the research area, draining both the east and west slopes of Mt. Mansfield. This survey has 2 objectives: (1) to establish baseline conditions for water quality on the mountain against which future water quality can be compared, and (2) to provide a snapshot of the ranges and spatial variability of water quality on the mountain, and use this information to identify nutrient-rich and nutrient-poor sites in the terrestrial ecosystem.

West slope sites include: four sampling locations in the Browns River headwaters (1700-2300 ft.) and three sampling locations in the Stevensville Brook drainage (1700-2300 ft.).
