- Sample collection and analysis
- dataset_eml_methoddescription: Samples were collected biweekly. pH measurements are then taken. Samples were transported to a lab for NH4+ and DOC analyses. Other stream chemistry measurements include Cl, Mg, Na, Al, Ca, K, H, NO3, SO4, Fe, Mn, and ANC. Soil water measurements included all of the above besides ANC.

Soil nitrification sites in paper birch/red maple stand, sugar maple/spruce/birch stand and in spruce adjacent to a bog. These sites located left center of Lye Brook Wilderness Area (north of Lye Brook Trail and west of Bourn Pond Shelter).
