Using dendrochronological techniques to interpret the response of trees to environmental change at Vermont Monitoring Cooperative's Mount Mansfield study site.
Objectives
The goal of this project was to examine how five notable tree species differ in their growth and to establish long-term study plots along three elevational transects replicated in three watersheds on Mt. Mansfield.
