Snow observations made by AMC staff at backcountry huts will be documented via paper copy and collected monthly. Additionally, data will be reported daily via radio/cellular phone reporting to staff that enter data into on online form. This system has been in place historically at AMC but will be formalized working with the National Weather Service to ensure data is digitally captured on a daily basis and stored in an online database. AMC will also collect snow depth observations using a camera that takes multiple pictures of a snow stake 4 times a day. This data will be collected at least monthly, switching out lithium batteries and SD cards. AMC staff will back up images and view best daily images and enter snow depth into a digital database.</eml:para></eml:abstract><eml:shortName>Community AMC Snow Observations</eml:shortName><eml:personnel><eml:principalInvestigator><eml:surName>Tourville</eml:surName><eml:givenName>Jordon</eml:givenName></eml:principalInvestigator><eml:contentProvider><eml:surName>Lineman</eml:surName><eml:givenName>Braedon</eml:givenName></eml:contentProvider><eml:principalInvestigator><eml:surName>Murray </eml:surName><eml:givenName>Georgia </eml:givenName></eml:principalInvestigator></eml:personnel></eml:project><eml:dataTable><eml:title>Hut Snow Observations</eml:title><eml:coverage scope="document"><eml:temporalCoverage scope="document"><eml:rangeOfDates><eml:beginDate><eml:calendarDate>2022-01-01</eml:calendarDate></eml:beginDate></eml:rangeOfDates></eml:temporalCoverage></eml:coverage><eml:description>Snow observations made by AMC hut crews and Community Snow Obs data.
